The Elevação Construction was responsible for the Construction of the emergency work for the collection and distribution of water for Curitiba and the metropolitan region.

The collection will take place in Colombo and will take 713 liters per second through 10 km of 1.00 m diameter pipelines of cast iron to supply 411,000 inhabitants.

THE WORK

In the challenge of overcoming the water crisis in Curitiba, the Elevação Construction hired to carry out an emergency work.
Aware of the challenge and responsibility of this important project, the Elevação team made the necessary efforts so that the new system, which now supplies 411,000 people, delivered within the stipulated period.
This is another result of 45 years of excellent services in the city of Curitiba, in the State of Paraná and in different regions of the country.

SUMMARY OF

The expansion of the Integrated Supply System of Curitiba and the Metropolitan Region (SAIC) with emergency interventions in the Municipality of Colombo – on the Capivari River, involving:

• Construction of 10.5 km of pipelines.
• Elaboration of executive projects and studies of hydraulic transients.
• Dam and Raw Water Collection.
• Raw Water Pumping Station.
• Transfer Lifting Station (future EEAT).
• Raw Water Pipeline DN900.
• Raw Water Pipeline DN1000.
• Electrical Installations and Automation/Supervisory.
• System Operation Training.
• Commissioning, Start-up, and Operational Tests of the entire System.
• Assisted operation.

Execution of Raw Water Pump (suction well) in reinforced concrete, with a total capacity of 1,080 l/s at 13.55 mca, total installed power of 351 hp, including the supply and assembly of 03 (three) sets of submersible pumps.

The units that make up the arrangement executed in the Transfer Pumping Station (future EEAT) are:

Execution of Raw Water Pumping Station (future EEAT) in reinforced concrete, with a capacity of 1,080 l/s at 148 mca, total installed power of 3,400 hp, including chamber with 4 niches, supply, and assembly of suction bell, 04 (four) horizontal motor pump sets, discharge pipe, check and block valves, carbon steel eductor barrel and hydraulic interconnections.
